Pauline Desmond

Pauline is the Principal Dentist at Newport Pagnell Dental Clinic and graduated from Cork University in 1994. She has 25 years’ experience in general dentistry and has developed the practice with the key objective of delivering quality dentistry in a relaxed and caring environment. Pauline delivers a wide range of treatment for her patients and keeps abreast of new procedures and the latest technology to ensure we are at the front of the changing face of dentistry. She has 4 young children herself and prides herself on her ability to put younger children at ease while havingtheir dental check-ups and treatment.
Brian Davison
BDS – (BRIST)

Brian qualified as a dental surgeon in 1987 at Bristol University, he joined Newport Pagnell Dental Clinic in 2007 and has since developed a great rapport with our patients. Brian takes great pride in his work and especially enjoys cosmetic dentistry. He has a patient and understanding approach towards nervous or anxious patients.
Niamh Desmond
DIPDENTAL HYGIENE – RDH (NCLE)

Niamh has a long association with Newport Pagnell Dental Clinic. Having previously worked as a Dental nurse she went on with further studies and qualified as a Dental Hygienist with merit at Newcastle University Dental Hospital. She utilised her full skills in treating adults and children.
Qualifying at Barts and the London School of Medicine & Dentistry (2015). Dr Saidul Islam prides himself on having a holistic patient centred approach, taking time to really listen to his patents and tailoring treatments accordingly. Enjoying all aspects of dentistry Dr Islam has a special interest in cosmetic dentistry, smile enhancements and complex anterior and posterior restorations. He enjoys giving his patients the smile they have always wanted.
In addition to his dental work Dr Saidul Islam is the Chief Media Officer for a local charity which focuses on the development of deprived children and adults. He also has two young children who keep him very busy.
Afra qualified as a dentist (BDS) from India in 2010 and has been practicing in the UK since 2014 when she completed her UK GDC registration. She also successfully undertook her MFDS (Member of Faculty of Dental Surgeons, Edinburgh) qualification in 2014. Afra enjoys all aspects of dentistry but has a particular interest in restorative dentistry and believes in prevention. She takes pride in her work and strives to provide the best care and treatment for her patients through an informed, understanding and caring approach.
Outside of the practice, she enjoys exploring the outdoors and is kept busy by her two young children.

Our Administration Team are passionate about creating a great experience for you from the moment you enter the practice. They play a key role in patient care and communication and are always looking for ways to improve your experience.
Nursing Team
Our Nursing Team are committed to continuous professional development and have achieved or are studying towards qualification as RDN (Registered Dental Nurse) and/or ODN (Orthodontic Dental Nurse). Our qualified nurses are registered with the General Dental Council and we are all BDA Good Practice Scheme members, a nationally recognised assurance of best practice standards dental/orthodontic care.
